Professional Learning Specialist

Casey provides teachers with coaching on PowerMyLearning’s framework grounded in research around equity , family engagement, social-emotional learning, and culturally responsive education in the Greater Los Angeles region.

Casey has worked as an adjunct professor instructing pre-service teachers in the School of Education on methods, laws, and strategies in literacy, specifically working with English Learners. Casey has taught in LA schools over a decade in both LAUSD and KIPP Charter Schools and held several different leadership roles within LAUSD to support both novice and veteran teachers in the classroom.
