    Jill Nyhus

    Chief Growth Officer

    Jill is responsible for leading sales and marketing priorities for PowerMyLearning’s programs and products for school districts and education organizations nationwide. She brings expertise in leading business development for K12 professional development services and ed-tech platforms.

    Most recently, Jill served as a leader at Insight Education Group for eight years. As Vice President of Business Development, she was instrumental on Insight’s executive leadership team in their strategy and execution of sales and marketing with clients in over 20 states and in the Middle East and the increase of Insight’s thought leadership in K12. As Vice President of Educator Quality, she led the development and launch of a new business line supporting districts across the country in building comprehensive multi-channel, equity-driven teacher recruitment and retention systems.

    Prior to Insight, Jill served as Senior Director of Technology at the District of Columbia Public Schools where she led the district’s digital communication strategy. In prior roles, she served as Director of New Media Research & Development for a tech start-up and Director of Web Strategy & Development for the cable industry’s cable foundation.

    Jill spent the first six years of her career as a grade 5 and 6 teacher in Prince George’s County Public Schools, Maryland. She has been a regular speaker at national education conferences on a wide variety of topics facing education leaders.

    Jill holds an M.A. in educational technology leadership from George Washington University in the District of Columbia and a B.A. in elementary education from Wheaton College in Illinois.
