    Managing Director, Los Angeles Programs

    Michelle leads the training and ongoing professional development for all PowerMyLearning coaching staff. She also works to codify and communicate PowerMyLearning’s coaching model and philosophy. Michelle comes to PowerMyLearning with expertise in school leadership, educator coaching & development, and instructional design with a lens on educational equity.

    Prior to joining PowerMyLearning, Michelle served as an Assistant Principal and Interim Principal of a charter school in Los Angeles. She has also served as a Special Education compliance leader, an instructional coach, and teacher of secondary mathematics.

    Michelle earned a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Teacher Education in Multicultural Societies from the University of Southern California, a Master’s in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley.
