    Paula Archey

    Program Development Associate

    Paula supports the development of research-based programming aimed at empowering teachers and families. She helps create resources focused on PowerMyLearning's core concepts of equity, family engagement, social emotional learning, and culturally responsive teaching.  

    Before joining PowerMyLearning, Paula fostered connections between students, educators, and families in her roles as librarian, diversity resource teacher, and advisor to the Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) at Western Albemarle High School in Crozet, VA. She has also worked as a Teaching & Learning Librarian at the University of Virginia. 

    Paula holds a Master of Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from Wheaton College, Massachusetts.
