As Chair of PowerMyLearning, I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Arun Ramanathan as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Arun will succeed the organization’s visionary Co-Founder, Elisabeth Stock, who will transition to the role of Founder In Residence. The transition will take effect May 1, 2024.

Arun brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education to his new role as CEO of PowerMyLearning. He is widely respected for his exceptional leadership qualities and expertise in driving transformative change in the education sector.

A seasoned educator himself, Arun has spent many years working in educational organizations and advocating for equitable, high-quality learning experiences for all students. He served most recently as the CEO of Pivot Learning, an Oakland, CA based non-profit that partners with K-12 schools across the nation to improve teaching and learning in English and Math. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of the Education Trust – West, where he played a pivotal role in improving educational outcomes for underserved children in the California school system.

Commenting on the transition, Elisabeth Stock, Co-Founder of PowerMyLearning said, “I am incredibly proud of what PowerMyLearning has accomplished over the years, and am excited to pass the baton to Arun. His extensive knowledge, leadership skills, and unwavering commitment to educational equity will undoubtedly take the organization to new heights.”
